Chad Canine grew up in a family and community where strong Christian values, giving back, and hard work were foundational.
He and his wife Erin knew they needed to make changes as their six-year-old daughter, Arabella, was starting school so they made significant sacrifices in their careers and personal lives.
Leaving big city life behind, they found home to be in Wimberley, a faithful, loving, and supportive community that values its children, schools, and teachers. They desired a town where their family could be involved in school, volunteer at church and within their community.
Chad will use his work ethic and professional knowledge in business, finance, and planning to enhance the strengths of WISD and ensure our children flourish.
He looks forward to serving on the WISD School Board, representing the kids, their families and taxpayers in Wimberley.
